I was very impressed by the offerings of Lobster at a very reasonable price. The lobster was so fresh it almost jumped out at me. I devoured the tail meat and the attacked the legs with great success. It is very easy to know if a lobster is fresh or thawed. This one was fresh out of the tank! The Ma Po chicken was great as well, though a little to chili for me, but my wife, who has a liking for chili enjoyed it. Perhaps next time I will ask about the chili. Not enough patrons are frequenting this very good Cantonese Restaurant when they should! We will certainly return.

There’s nothing like Takam in Canberra, so my partner and I decided to travel to Sydney and celebrate our anniversary there. The ambience is calming and intimate. Service is amazing, they really take their time in explaining their dishes, they are also very sweet and attentive when interacting with diners. The food was awesome! Full of creativity and sarap with every bite. Its modern pinoy and yet they never lost touch with the techniques and taste of the original pinoy dishes. I look forward to dining with friends and family next time. Thank you Takam!
