Restaurants near Inn on the Hudson

The food is excellent at Apropos. The big disappointment was that I asked for a window table and received a call to verify that I would get one. Then when we got there, the only free window table was set for six people and we were told they had preference over us (three people). Those "six" people arrived when we were eating dessert and were actually four people. This started things off wrong, but the food and service made up for it. At times, it seemed like the staff was running around to meet everyone's needs. The time between courses was a bit long and I wondered if something was going on behind the scenes. I will return because the food is so good, but the staff shouldn't promise something they can't deliver.

Close to downtown. Good location. Nice atmosphere.

Appetizers were very good! We shared wings and the glazed Brussels sprouts were excellent! The burgers were very good as well!

Good experience. Food surprisingly good. Mostly bar food but very good. Once we got a server they were attentive. Rainy day but the outside looks like a great area on a nice day.

We went here before a show at The Paramount theater, and everything was amazing! Staff was friendly, courteous, and also helped be mindful of time for our show. The food was delicious - we had pork belly bites (comes with guac!) and the birria empanadas to start, Carne Asada and Steak fajitas as entrees, and churros and Flan for dessert. Everything was excellent!
