Steven the Somm was fabulous and Erin from Canada was an exceptional waitstaff. Definitely try the oysters and apple tarte tatin.

Our second visit to the brewery, this time with friends. Service is top notch and the food is delivered quickly. Fantastic to find such a good property in a small country town.

It was a lot quieter than usual, being Good Friday, but it was still a good as usual. Only 2 pax this visit. I had the Beef cheek gnocchi ragout. Where has this been hiding! I know is always been on this menu, however it was my first experience. The dish was so good. Gnocchi cooked to perfection, the beef fall apart tender, and the ragout thick, flavoursome and to die for. A very fill8ng dish; I'll be having that again. 2nd guest has one off the specials board - cottage pie - very generous serving, mash was light and fluffy, the filling, generous and full of flavour. This dish should be on the permanent menu. Over all good hearty meals, enjoyed by both of us

OMG the Steak was melt in your mouth, it was so unexpected for a Rump Cut. This is the third time l have dined here with my family. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. Love the warm, lounge feeling of the restaurant, it's not your usual pub. Love this place!

Lyons Will is a small vineyard & cellar door. What they lack in size they make up for in quality. It's a lovely place to spend an afternoon trying out their various wines. If you can get there while they are doing one of their guest chef events it's even better. Its just perfect and the best in the Mount Macedon area.
