A very nice old place with great ambiance. Very welcoming, good food and drink and reasonably priced. I look forward to my next visit.

An excellent lunch. From the moment we walked in. We were able to chose the table to sit at. We were given time to look at the menu. Water was brought to the table. Plenty of choice. Food was excellent. Well definitely be back.

We went for the first time here, for our daughters birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the service was prompt and friendly, most of us had burgers and was a bonus to find out they had a deal with a drink included with those meals. So couldn't fault the bill either. We would return again. 🙂

Absolutely amazing food as always, the staff was ever so friendly and welcoming, we all really enjoyed our evening and butterflies experience as always! X

Support your local pubs or lose them!! We ate at the Red Lion on a couple of nights whilst camping nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pub has been very nicely renovated and the food was very good. Although only a small menu, it is interesting and gave us plenty of choice. The nights we were there it did get quite full and noisy, but for us that is a good sign! If we are back in the area we will certainly go back.
