Excellent food with plenty of choice on the menu, and helpful guidance from our waiter on small and large plates. Pleasant ambience, some nice artwork from local artists, prompt service, and the best crème brûlée I’ve had in a long time!

The food selection was varied and perfectly cooked, offering much choice to each diner. The specials were many and covered all courses. We went for the sharing charcuterie platter, followed by the venison haunch and then a glorious sticky toffee pudding and raspberry pannacotta to finish. Each dish was perfectly cooked with attentive but unobtrusive service. Highly recommended.

I always enjoy an evening at Helgi's. The food is good and staff are nice. They offer a good selection of drinks and cocktails. There is always a nice feeling in the place.

Limited menu due to new equipment being installed. Both of us had Haddock and Chips which was very good. Our deserts were lovely as well. My wife had a brownie and ice cream and I had tablet sundae which was also very good willbe back to try the full menu when they have done thier upgrades. Overall well worth a visit. Leo is a great host.
