- RrussellVIPLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThere are two essential things you can count on from Grind Greenwich. Firstly the food specifically brunch in this case the full Grind breakfast is of the highest quality. It’s not a dustbin lid of pork from the freezer. It’s quality farm sourced produce cooked perfectly and accompanied by finest sourdough bread and the sort of hashbrowns that if Michelin star restaurants served hashbrowns, this is what they would serve! Second is the service, and I’m going to specifically call out Hannah our fire eating waitress (yes she’s a dancer, fire eater and all round entertainer when she’s not at university or working in Grind. Strangely she’s not the only waitress that eats fire there and you don’t find that every day!) However, the main point here is that Hannah is one of the most engaging people you’re likely to meet. Looking pensive when she is scanning the tables to ensure they are served quickly and effectively and beaming the sort of smile you could just dive into when she is talking to you in that gregarious and effervescent manner. You can kind of tell that what Hannah does and in her spare time requires a lot of energy because despite being very busy during the week she brings an incredible dynamic to what she does in grind which is make her customers smile and very happy! Unlike a lot of false smiles that you come across to sell you another coffee or cocktail in the service industry, Hannah is genuine (actually all of the staff that have ever served me in grind are very genuine and engaging people!) and seems to be intrinsically enjoying what she does as well as enjoying chatting to customers! Bottom line is that my friends and I continue to go to Grind specifically for the food and the service and I would highly recommend it! So, I commend commend both the food and Hannah! Thanks Hanna! My friend and I really enjoyed our brunch which was only enhanced by the radiance of your personality and the the brightness of your smile! Thank you and see you soon! xMore infoGrind GreenwichPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Greenwich•4.2
