Excellent value! Tasty food, interesting specials, friendly atmosphere. Definitely a neighborhood gem!

We love seafood and were pleasantly surprised by the originality of flavors. The food was unpretentious yet still sophisticated. Standouts were the raw tuna, the sourdough with anchovies, and the “Caesar” salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. The staff was exceptional, and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

The chicken pot pies that two of us had and the trout which I had were excellent, well prepared and well worth the modest charge. The chocolate mint ice cream was excellent and a nice finish to the dinner. We will return to Marathon again soon.

Scarpetta is great for some things. The octopus was awesome. Gorgeous atmosphere and excellent service. However—there was NOTHING about 75% of our meal that justified the price. $40 for spaghetti and meatballs? Three meatballs and a passable tomato sauce with average pasta. An arugula salad for $25? If you go I’d suggest going at happy hour. Otherwise it’s not worth it. There are better Italian spots all over that take the same care with their food but don’t charge you hotel restaurant prices.

Great easy spot for great Korean. Wings are top notch! Fun mystery beer too.
