The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! The producers are handpicked, to ensure the very best quality, including charcuterie from Monsieur Colliard and fish from Mouchet Anythy sur Leman, a fourth generation fisherman.     Great food, ambiance and service. Waiters and staff went out of their way to ensure a positive experience even making an unknown cocktail to them :-) Heads up to Manu and Reddy.

    This was my first time at this restaurant, and I'm glad I decided to book my Christmas reservation there. From the time you walk in, the atmosphere is terrific, with the pink flowers and vines in the right locations and lengths. I was seated at a table for one close to the front of the house. It was a good location, and I could observe everything happening. My servicer ( I believe his name was ( Fab), but I'm unsure. He explained the Christmas menu and advised me to select the regular one as the appetizers were too much for one person to enjoy. His suggestion paid off, and I enjoyed the salad, somas, and Lamb Shank. I could not finish all the food as it was too much. I ended my wonderful meal with a mint tea, which helped ease my stomach. It was a great end to my vacation in Chelsea and my Christmas. I highly recommend this place. I will visit again when I return to the area.
