The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. Don’t be put off by the shabby decor or the scaffolding; the service and particularly the food was exceptional and all produced by just one chef. First class burger, crab linguine and guinea fowl milanese. Very enjoyable. We will be back and we will recommend!

Food is very good and overall good value other than scallops which were inexplicably expensive at £6 each. We ordered some out of curiosity and they were perfectly nice average sized scallops- so not six quids worth. Everything else was great and we will continue to visit the Beachhouse
