Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018.     Chef Andrew and the whole crew at Ironwood gave us the perfect ending to a fairytale weekend. We enjoyed our whole weekend at The Steel District, but Sunday morning Brunch was the cherry on our sundae.... Or should I say Raspberry in the sherbet (which was a delightful finish to a decadent meal.) We were so honored to meet Brandon. Cody, our server had the best timing, making us feel like we were VIPs and personal guests. We were so thankful for all their generosity and welcomed hospitality. The ambiance was breathtaking and the view of the Falls was spectacular. This will definitely be one of our favorite places to revisit.

    Great food great service! We got right in for out 7pm reservation. Our server was amazing! We were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary and we were given a little something and was personally wished a Happy Anniversary 😊
