I really loved the Turbot and roasted carrots. The Bourguinon, escargots, and salmon fume were all good but not exceptional. The crust of the tarte tartin dessert, however, was soggy. Overall we liked the restaurant except for the very loud family seated next to us that also had a child that would shriek every so often. I think they also added an extra soda to the bill by mistake...there were 6 on the bill and I know I only had 2 (there were 2 of us). It should be noted that the Tarte Tartin dessert had nuts scattered around the plate even though it was not mentioned on the menu (my son is allergic). They brought a "new" one without nuts on the plate but my son was a little afraid to eat it because the same garnish (a strawberry that was sliced to look like a flower that he had taken a little bite out of) was on the new plate - not sure about the piece of tart.

Staff and service was impeccable. Food was good as well. Traditional French. If you’re looking for French staples, this is the place to go. Fantastic service.

Terrible service. Food took forever and the staff was more interested in hanging out and chatting with one another than actually waiting on our table.

This was a disappointing meal. Too much cheese! (And I would never say that lightly.) if not for the lightly dressed greens I wouldn’t have eaten at all. The scallion compote tasted almost exactly like dishwater. Nice warm bread though. Service not terrible.

Nice bistro ambience, friendly, efficient staff, but the food is gooey, heavy French of generations past.

I went to La Voile Brookline when they opened the restaurant 10 years ago and it ‘s so different, in a good way… The place is as beautiful as the Boston one. Food was delightful, and the service was amazing. It really was a great time, thank you very much and see you next time!

The dishes for Dine Out Boston were interesting and very well prepared. I especially liked eating things I would never take the time to cook at home.
