   Just a tad too expensive for pasta dinners, but food was decent and service was good.

   Thank you for your feed back... we try to keep our Quality at its highest level and our portions at a good value here at La Sorella.. with rising cost for food, beverage and Labor unfortunately we must transfer a bit of that to our consumers or we would have to close our doors.. after 30 years we certainly cant do that ... please ask for me when you return I will be sure to take care of you Donny G GM

   Wonderful service, great food and ambiance! Have visited numerous times and am never let down by the experience! 10/10 recommend for lunch and/or dinner.

   Got there early so the ambience was minimal until others arrived. But our waiter John and the staff that supported him were amazing. - Food was great and we’ll definitely go back!

   Checked in 2 min before reservation, many couples sat before us after that, checked with hostess again after 15 min and she said you requested down stairs, I didn’t. Just a birthday celebration. Went back after 5, more direct to the issue and they said “oh”. We had been skipped and waited 25 min to get seated in a cold upstairs room were everyone could hear all conversations in room. Just a sorry. Left a bad taste in mouth for entire meal. Requested to not have any b day dessert and will not come back again.

   It was crowded and loud, but you expect that when you go to LaSorella di Francesca. The food and service were excellent so we’ll be back.

   Jim we appreciate your understanding of our bustling ..loud crowded restaurant... It is a Historical building with high ceilings.. perhaps that is the appeal to many..    From the young lady who sat us, to Luis, our server and the woman who assisted him, and not to exclude the young man who brought our food to us, that part of the experience made us feel as if we were family members* The warmth, smiles and general interaction were absolutely stellar! The table "olive oil", infused with fabulous herbs and served with perfect bread and cheese couldn't have been better. The Calamari Fritti was cooked to perfection with the right amount of batter (marinara on side could've been a tad warmer). The Agnolotti Quattro Fromaggi, with the prefect balance of cheese was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the mushrooms cooked to perfection. My Pollo Al Limone with spinach could not have been better with. the perfect balance of all flavors as they meld into the food. We ended our meal with the Sicilian, Pistachio Gelato, Ice Cream Sandwich which mere words cannot explain; just try it! Cannot wait to return to this particular establishment, interacting with hostesses and waitstaff who offer their familia-like embrace. *A gentleman walked around greeting many. We felt left out; perhaps next time.

Scott Harris has instilled in all of us to bring back the Old School feeling with our Great fresh food and warm efficient service.. in every aspect our our guests visit with us to insure a wonderful dining experience.    As per usual- we had a wonderful dinner at La Sorella last night. We have been going here for many years ...it is our absolute favorite place to be in Naperville. Having Steve as our server always makes the the night...with excellent service, he is always at the ready to know exactly what we want! We look forward to sitting with him every time if possible! We will be back soon...cheers!

   Back in the day, whenever we wanted a phenomenal meal in downtown Naperville, we often reserved a table at La Sorella di Francesca and the fabulous feast never disappointed! It had been a minute but we decided to visit our "old friend". Today's lunch began at a lovely table by the windows along Jefferson Avenue, with their delicious bread (which we joyfully dipped in olive oil and Parmesan cheese) and a fantastic dish of Mushrooms Gorgonzola. Of course we had to order our past favorite, the Pollo Arrosto Alla Romana; roasted chicken with potatoes in the most luscious sauce of olive oil and lemon, beautifully accented by rosemary, garlic and shallots. It was as though time had stood still; as tasty as it always was when we were regulars. The meal finished with a decadent Sloppy Sundae for my sweetheart and the Lemon Olive Oil Cake for me. Service was terrific. We won't ever stay away so long again!
