   Reserved a table for 4, and the other party ended up bringing their two teen daughters and our reservation was adjusted. This was pretty much the only positive thing about the experience. We were seated in a weird corner of the restaurant that was way too dark (whereas the rest of the restaurant was normally lit) and seated next to 3 large groups who were incredibly noisy. I suppose it’s not the restaurant’s fault for the noise level but it seemed like we were purposely sat in the “ugly” corner, whether it was because we were dressed too casually or we had teens with us (the tables around us had screaming kids). Either way, it’s discriminatory and absolutely disgusting behavior. Overall, the food was barely above average and not in line with the price tag. Entree portions are very small but quality is decent to good. Price tag should have gotten me high quality ingredients, though. The variety of bread, fruits, and veggies for the fondue were very limited and everything seemed kind of old and limp like they were forgotten in the back of my fridge. The server mixing our cheese fondue made an absolute mess on our table by spilling cheese all over and didn’t even clean it up, not even a quick wipe. We were also served the wrong wine. When it came to the entrées, the server dumped half the meats onto the grill instead of just letting us do one at a time so we could keep track of what we were tasting. My friends who had been there before said that wasn’t typical service and it seemed like they were rushing us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s a huge rip off for hit or miss quality, flavor, and service.

   Service was a bit slow and the food wasn’t as good as we remembered. Overpriced for the quality and quantity

   I have a lot to say about our dinner last night and I have to say that none of it will be favorable. From the start, the waitress wasn’t very helpful with a somewhat complicated menu that you literally had to use a flashlight to see. Overall, it was gimmicky. They fill you up on salad, then chunks of bread to dip into the cheese. This is obviously designed to fill you up on cheap stuff so they can skimp on the meat and fish., which they did. We wanted filet mignon. The portion we got for 3 people was less than a 3rd of an actual steak. No, sadly this is not an exaggeration. I thought things would improve with the chocolate course. It was okay but we thought they would have had more fresh fruit with it instead of marshmallows and cookie dough, and stuff you could buy in any grocery store. It could have been special, but it wasn’t. When you go to a restaurant with 4 $$$$, you expect excellence (at least we do). We’re happy to pay a lot of money for a great meal. This would have been more acceptable if it were 2 $$, but to pay over $400 for 3 people for what truly would cost less than $100 to put together made us feel a silly for making the trek from Alameda for my birthday. Not one of us would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   Always good food, service was ok. Filled our own water and champagne was room temp. Poured our own glasses as well. It's not so easy to share with dairy allergies....

   New Year's Eve we arrived at 8:10pm for our 8:15pm reservations for outdoor seating. We were told to wait inside where at least five other couples and a party of six were also waiting. As far as I could tell, no one was offered a drink while waiting. At 8:35, I inquired how much longer it would be, the host said he could seat us now. When the host started walking away from the outdoor seating, I reminded him our reservations were for outside. He said, "Oh, outside? You're going to have to wait a lot longer for that." So we agreed to sit inside. It took over 15 minutes for the server to come to the table. Another 15 minutes later our server brought glasses of water and the food items for dipping in the cheese fondue (the second course of the meal). The food just sat there as we waited for, and then ate our salads. The staff member said they typically serve 100 people on a weekend night, on New Year's Eve, they had reservations for 300. Seems management got a bit greedy and didn't consider the impact it would have on the customer's experience or the servers' workload. Unacceptable at $135.00 per person plus gratuity.

    Way overpriced for what we received, we were told the 4 course dinner was all we could order and was charged $413 for dinner. First and last time there
