   We were there in a Thursday and there was a corporate event taking place. Not the restaurants fault but it was loud. Service and food both excellent! Will be coming back for special occasions!

   I can’t say enough about one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County. You start by taking the elevator downstairs for the door is open to a dark welcoming, beautiful restaurant. It’s like taking a step back in time. If you’re lucky enough to cozy up with your loved one in a leather booth and share a bottle of wine….It’s a good day. The shrimp scampi is probably my favorite in the entire world. It’s addicting and be sure to use the garlic cheese bread to soak up every last morsel of juice. The staff has all been there a while and very friendly and welcoming. This is a great place for a date night. This is a great place to have an incredible cozy dinner. Always treated well. Always love checking in here.

   Great service- great musician too. Value also good. Had lot of fun and Will go back for sure. On the needs improvement side - Appetizers very limited choices - and what’s deal with not putting prices on menu. Shouldn’t have to guess or be secret / all restaurants have that courtesy.

   We had an incredible dinner at La Cave. The service was very attentive and continuous support from many people. The food was among the best in all of OC’s well known steak houses. Prime rib and lobster was simply outstanding!!!

   Horrible as the owner was very rude. We had a reservation as well as requested and reserved the table where we always sit. The owner said they do not reserve tables and tried to sit us somewhere else and then had the nerve to tell us it was reserved for someone else. We have been going there for years and have never seen her so for this to happen is ridiculous. We ended walking out and she could have cared less. Her attitude will drive people away as we will never go back

   Last time I was there , it was before Covid and the food ,it used be good and the steak and lobster was great but last night was the worse food I ever had in my life the lobster was the worse 🤮the lobster was sunken in a disgusting sauce 🤮 the steak was over cooked and awful , the ambiance wasn’t like before either, and top of everything we paid around 500.00 for this disgusting food , I would never ever go back there again 🤮🤮🤮

   Classic and loved like heirloom china❤️ We’ve come here several times over the years - perfect retro feel, energetic atmosphere and timeless.

    This was our first visit and we were not disappointed! We found it a unique experience. My husband ordered an end cut of the prime rib and said it was the best he’d ever had! Moist and cooked to medium! The portion was so large that he took home enough for sandwiches for 3 days! I ordered the steak medallions which were done to perfection. I had the twice baked potato and I also took home enough for 2 more meals! He had a regular baked potato. The meal came with soup and salad - both were delicious! We topped off the meal with carrot cake which was divine! Interesting to note that the menu didn’t show any prices although the waitress was happy to tell us. When I mentioned that when I googled the restaurant and menu the prices are listed. The waitress said that they don’t print prices because they change every day. Although our tab was high ($170 - and we don’t drink alcohol ) we both agreed that it was worth it and will return- on a Saturday night because that’s the only night they serve prime rib. Bon Appetite!
