   Very disappointed in the food, all of our dinners were bad and poorly prepared. Carbonara was soupy, salty and awful. Elk meat was good but polenta was like hard cream of wheat with burnt vegetables. Very expensive and sad. It needs a new chef and menu.

   La Casa Sena was not what I was expecting. The restaurant was okay, but in the future I would opt to sit in the lounge for a more lively atmosphere. I ordered the "Chile" and a baked potato (which landed up not being ready/available). The wait staff was nice, but seemed to just be going through the motions. There was nothing that made the restaurant welcoming, or encouraged me to want to have dinner there in the future.

   We sat in the Club Legato room and listened to live jazz. Food was excellent, service very good, jazz the right noise level to both enjoy the music and table conversation. Expensive, best for special dates.

   Our waiter apparently had other duties besides taking care of us, because he was absent for long periods of time throughout the meal, creating several awkward timing situations, including not receiving our bottle of wine until we were almost to the end of our appetizer, which I ultimately had to open and pour myself. I love the ambience of this restaurant, and we have eaten here many times over the past 30 years. The courtyard, in particular is a delightful place to have lunch during the warmer months. On this dining occasion, unfortunately, the flavors in our dishes did not come together very well. The plating, however, was exceptional. One other odd thing: we were seated next to a couple that had their dog in a baby carriage table-side and I was in a position to witness the lady hand-feed it scraps from her plate. To her credit, after a while, she changed positions with the dog carriage so it wasn't in close proximity to me and out of my line of site. I have never encountered this in my life, and should have asked to be reseated. Perhaps Open Table should inform its customers if restaurants accommodate dogs table-side (not on the floor, but actually sitting at the table)?

   A very welcoming culinary experience! We were sat at a lovely table by the fireplace as requested, our service was impeccable, and the food was scrumptious! Would definitely go again for a special night!
