   Shawn did a making job at getting us accommodated. He had great suggestions for drinks as well as food. Give that man a raise! Overall it was great!

   We sat upstairs at Kona's this time for our group of eight. While we have not always enjoyed our experience upstairs, this time was different. Great service, attentive service, no delays, all aspects were very well done.

   From entry to exit, the best service experience I have ever experienced in a chain restaurant. This was my first time and they operated like a five star, high-end restaurant. I will return.

   it was good i got shrimp tacos, i wish the portions was bigger especially for the portions size even for other dishes but other than that customer service was great and very fine dining.

   We always visit Kona for special occasions. Our party of six had no complaints. We ordered avocado rolls and calamari for appetizers. Always a great choice. For dinner the crowd ordered prime rib, salmon, and steak. All perfectly cooked and delicious!

   My husband and I met our friend with special needs for lunch. She arrived before we did and asked if she could order from the kids menu, as she has at every other restaurant we have eaten with her. When it came time to order, the server then told her she could not order from the kids menu. She had a difficult time finding something on the regular menu she could eat. She did order a chicken sandwich, but could not finish it. If the server would have told her about the policy on adults ordering from the kids menu before it was time to take our orders, we would have gone elsewhere to meet her needs. As far as the sushi my husband and I ordered, it was wonderful and fresh. I love the food at Kona, I just wish they would have been more accommodating to our friend who has limitations.

   We frequently go to Kona Grill, and have always been very happy with the service and great food. Unfortunately, last night two people in our party ordered steaks, and after several attempts to serve the steaks at the right temperature, our efforts were halted. Three of us who ordered pasta, fish, and salad were very pleased with our meals, but the two steak orders just never could be prepared as ordered. The manager tried his best and even provided soup while we waited for the steaks to be cooked again, but no matter how many times we tried- our medium well request always returned with a medium rare steak. Our server was lovely and we really appreciated the efforts to try to make it right, but perhaps it was just not a good night for us. We will likely return again someday, but I think we will stay away from the steak options.
