   The food was delicious, but a bit pricey. You definitely go for the taste, not the quantity. With that being said, flavor-wise, this place IS one of the best. Go with a group and order several items to share.

   For all the buzz about the food, I found the scene more bar-like and not really conducive to a comfortable gastrointestinal experience. All that said, the wait staff more than made up for the loud crowd (though they need to fill the water glasses all the way up, not just halfway...wouldn't have to make nearly as many trips to the table if they did that) and the food we had was amazing...housemade bread, fresh butter, generous portions of bread to go with the cheese plates and housemade pate, just for starters. It also wasn't clear that the restaurant served small plates (which was fine, just unexpected).

   Finally able to enjoy this wonderful spot! Host was able to find us a quieter table upstairs(at a window 2 top)after we explained my partner's hearing loss. Fantastic service by Daniel and the rest of the serving team. Bartender created a cocktail based solely on my suggestions;it was delicious and perfection. Between the 2 of us we shared 4 plates and we left not a morsel upon them. Everything was completely enjoyable from the decor to the last crumb of the salted chocolate cookies. Thank you for a gastronomic spoiling.

   Our small office went to Kindred for our boss' birthday. Of our party of five, I was the only one who had been before. It did not disappoint. The best way I could describe eating at Kindred is that it is like having dinner at your friend's home. Your friend who just happens to be an amazing chef and mixologist. The food is incredible, but the ambiance and service is what makes it so special. It is warm, comfortable, special yet accessible and welcoming. Everything you want from a great meal and a great friend. Thank you for another special night.

    A friend of mine told me about this place and how great it was and how I needed to get the cinnamon sweet bread. Well...we are more than that and the cinnamon sweet bread changed my life. Best dessert ever. I would come just for this alone!! Definitely need to come back to try more items. I didn't "love" the pork chop but the mushroom ravioli was perfect!!!
