   We ordered off the Fixed Price menu which provided an excellent value. My friend had the shrimp, and I had the Prime Rib. The only issue I had was that the Prime Rib was a bit dry. Service was excellent and we were dining early, so it was quieter. Always have a good experience at Kincaids.

   I chose Kincaid -St. Paul for our anniversary dinner based on the reputation of the restaurant. Friends and family have mentioned that Kincaids was very nice, so I booked a table. Service was mediocre, and the food was marginal. After waiting for quite a while they brought 2 prime rib to the table that were grey… well done? Maybe. Since we ordered med rare, we declined them and they said it would be about 15 minutes to get med rare. After 20 minutes, we received our food ands it was at least medium and had very little flavor. The server did bring a complimentary dessert to acknowledge the inconvenience, but honestly, that isn’t enough to offset a $200 bill for mediocre food/service. We are unlikely to return.

   We made resv before the Wild playoff game. We specifically asked when we called for resv if we will be able to eat in time to get to the game, since last game we missed the start after waiting forever for food! Welllll, we got there last night and they said no tables were available since many were waiting to be bussed!! I said that they specifically committed to be able to serve us dinner before the game but they were SO overbooked!! Their chops are always amazing but their inability to manage to a timeline forces us to go other places in the future. This is very very disappointing to continue to embarrass themselves!

   Excellent place to have a holiday meal—we’ve now done Thanksgiving and Easter and both were great. Although kind of surprised there wasn’t a ham option for Easter!

   We had a wonderful dinner! Walleye and the filet were both amazing, as well as several apps and sides…thank you!

   We were there for a 5:45 reservation on Friday, April 18 and arrived early and were seated promptly. My husband ordered the prime rib and I debated on which sea bass entree I wanted and the waitress said the Sake Marinated Sea Bass was outstanding so I thought I should try that. She came back in about 15 minutes and said the prime rib was out. On a Friday night at 5:30 and no prime rib? I realize it was Good Friday, but we should have been told when we were looking over menus that there was no prime rib. He ordered steak instead and said it was good. The sea bass dish, on the other hand, was awful. It came on a shrimp cake and when I cut into that, orange grease flowed out and the sea bass itself was SO greasy. Wish I would have stuck with regular sea bass entree. The waitress NEVER came back to ask us how our meal was. We did receive a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary. Just so disappointed in the actual meal. This was our first time there and expected better.

    The food was decent, place was clean, staff super nice and helpful. The only issue we got dressed up, husband nice suit, me nice outfit, following dress code, but we were over dressed, leggings sweatshirts, jeans and tee shirts kinda thing.
