   K.C. American Bistro is closing in two days. Those of us who have eaten here through the years are very sad. Keith is a wonderful chef and host. His food has always been creative and excellent. He is taking a much needed break. I wish him a wonderful summer and will keep my fingers crossed that he will open a new restaurant in the fall. Keith's staff is excellent. I will miss him as well as Seth and Magda.

While Chef Keith is taking a much-deserved break, we’re excited to share that the restaurant is not closing—we're simply embarking on an exciting new course to Amber Cove—a fresh concept celebrating modern coastal cuisine with global flair. Our original team—including Seth and Magda—remains on board, ensuring the service and warmth continue. Under the direction of Chef Je (Jehad Alsharbini), Amber Cove blends some of the best of K.C.'s most-loved dishes with bold, globally inspired coastal cuisine, offering a fresh and elevated dining experience.    Food was not to the same standard and presented differently than in prior visits. Wait staff were inexperienced. Not sure I'll be back soon.

   Sadly, this restaurant is transitioning to a new owner and soon a new menu. The experience wasn't as we remembered it last year. Hopefully, the new owner will be successful. I recommend they put a chicken dish on the menu.

   Our dinner was wonderful, as always. The wait staff is excellent. I have been dining here for almost 16 years and have always considered this restaurant as my favorite place. I am very sad that this very special restaurant has been sold. Keith is a fabulous chef and very welcoming to all of his guests. I wish him well as he steps back for some well-deserved relaxation.    The menu was not as posted on their web sight. Prices have been raised. Service was good. AC was frigid. Some entree portions at our table of 6 were very small. Won’t go back. New owners, have changed it.

   The rack of lamb at KC's American Bistro is the best anywhere....and the duck is on a par with the lamb as is the sea bass, etc., etc., Scrumptious and creative sides... and delicious dessert. Professional preparation and presentation. KC's is a delight.

   Sean, our server did an excellent job, he was very attentive. Food was delicious and creatively prepared and presented. Very enjoyable evening.
