   This was a great place. The food was great, especially the Volcano nachos. They had great margaritas and the best Scenic view with lots of Decour

   Menu very limited. Salsa bad and chips were terrible. Left the restaurant rather than ordering main courses.

   Rather pedestrian, chose the location for a group from work and the music was way to loud to carry on a reasonable conversation.

   They ran out of Landshark beer, the service was awful, they didn't play Jimmy Buffet music or have any of the videos on. Very disappointed.

   We wondered why we were able to get a reservation for 6 at 7pm on a Sunday night. Waikiki restaurants are packed every night, and we thought we were lucky to get a reservation - until we walked in. An elevator ride to the second floor - shabby entrance and elevator. The music was very loud and we asked the manager to please tone it down! The food was not good, etc. ... the waiter was nice, but really we wanted to leave after they poured our water. We knew we had no choice but to stay as every single restaurant in that town is booked solid - especially impossible for a party of 6. Jimmy Buffet's we later found out is closing down - makes sense. I wanted to run as soon as I entered, but had kids who needed to eat quick and get to their event.

   We had set up a later reservation time as it was Valentine's Day and had hoped to get in on some good food and a fun time! Sadly we arrived and it was almost 5 minutes by the time someone came to help us and they told us they were still finishing cleaning up a big rush and we should sit at the bar. That's not s huge problem for me but I was with two underage adults and to me it was a bit of a conflict. The service on food delivery was great but the quality of food was less than desired, my friend had the Cajun Mac'n'cheese and the pasta was overlooked and under seasoned, my steak tacos were tough and under seasoned. One of our friends got the ultimate nachos with Kalua pork and those were really good! We had been excited to come here and I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and quality of food. The bartenders were very nice and accommodating but things did take more time and it was a bit annoying to keep waiting for someone to notice you waiting at the bar. Just a bit bummed for our last dinner in Waikiki.

   We have enjoyed our times at Jimmy's Place on Waikiki, but it was a shock to find that they are closing at the end of February. :( The food was great as usual but the lack of beer selection was hard on one of our party as he could not get his favorite beer. Our waiter told us as we questioned about buying the table we sat at that the prices were quite high. The shark over the bar was $5k, the whale over the bar $30k, the light fixtures over our table $1k each. We will miss this place and hope Jimmy opens another place here soon.

   Service was quick, pleasant and on point. Our meals were filling and delicious. Our drinks were unique and so good!

    Let's start off with the waitstaff; for some reason it changed during our service, without any reason or any notice to us. We find that unacceptable; especially when there was no break involved. The Mai Tai tasted really watered down, the pina Colada had ice cubes in it. The creole mac & cheese with seafood was well worth the money. The New York strip was dry and no flavor. We would not recommend going here. We eat at a lot of different restaurants and try to give everyone a fair chance. But customer service is everything and if there is to be a change to the wait staff, the customer should be informed.
