   I have been there before and enjoyed it but this time I did not. The clams oreganata were dry and overcooked. The lobster Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesy. More creamy. I paid $24 for it as a shareable side but it was small and only had 4 pieces of lobster. The mashed potatoes were not buttery for the steak. She messed up my drink order. The staff was nice. I do like that it is informal vibe. The steak was tender. For the price you pay, we could have had tastier food. The previous times I have been there the food was better.

   My husband and I come here every year. Our server Myrene was amazing. We also have had Marissa she’s amazing as well. Love the vibe and the service. It feels like home. Will definitely come back ❤️

   As always, our dining experience was outstanding. The food was delicious and our server, Theodore, was terrific - attentive and efficient.

   Food was delicious, as always. Service could be improved - bread was hard (or stale) and was replaced quickly but still hard; when taking home food, the server brought a take-out container so we could pack up our food but he had already removed the cutlery. None of this will stop us from returning - had a wonderful meal.

    The food at Jake's is fantastic. It always is. Our waiter was very good. I gave only a 3 for service because of the staff member who brought water and picked up dishes. The restaurant wasn't very busy so perhaps he had nothing to do, but he came over to fill our water glasses twice even though they hadn't been touched, doing so while I was eating and leaning over my plate of food. This is not the way to do it. Ask if I want more water (and my glass filled to the rim) and I'll pass it to the edge of the table away from my food. Other than this one glitch, I love Jake's and will be back again. P.S. We went during an NFL game. jake's Instagram says drinks and some apps are half price during NFL games. Last year we dined at a table and got that deal. This time we were told that the deal only applies to those sitting at the bar. Jake's should make this clear in its Insta posts.
