Josef Sheekey solía ser un vendedor en un puesto de mariscos y el primero en abrir un bar de ostiones en St. Martin's Court en 1896. Restaurado y manteniendo su renombre desde 1998, los 4 salones están decorados con fotografías de todo el siglo 20, las cuales reflejan el lugar central que ocupa este restaurante en el mundo del teatro. If you like fish this is the place to go. It is without doubt the best fish restaurant in London, although they do do other things. It's a great place with lots of theatre based history and is a must visit for any foodie. But it's pretty expensive, and there's no pre-theatre option, which is a shame.

Lovely relaxed late lazy lunch prepping us for a theatre evening. The team were attentive and we were well looked after. Food was delightful, as were the drinks. Happy to sip a glass of wine and soak up the history at the same time.

What an excellent dining experience, well looked after by the tentative staff and enjoyed delicious meals to boot - Lobster Thermidor was a standout dish! Encore!

Fantastic service late night post theatre. Although the restaurant was quite empty, we were shown to the liveliest and most atmospheric section to enjoy the bustle of activity and conversation. Excellent slip soles and haddock. Lively bottle of wine. Quick, efficient and super friendly and stylish service. A wonderful evening.
