   The experience was great as we celebrated my birthday with a couple friends. JT, our waiter , was great and was very attentive to our table and enhanced our time tremendously. The food was excellent including the best onion rings ever. Overall, it was great.

   We sat at the bar and John was great. We tried the prime rib egg rolls. They were not good. The shrimp and grits were sooo good! My husband had the sea bass , which he loved . The menu has completely changed and it’s not good . We won’t be back . The music was loud . I like Frank Sinatra but not every other song . Bring back the old JGilberts !

   The waiter seemed annoyed with us right off the bat. It was my birthday dinner. First, the steak was way undercooked so I had to wait to start my meal while my fiance started his. The waiter only brought us one loaf of bread while we waited. Then we got the check and had to wait around because the free cake was added to our bill and the waiter didn’t come back. I love this place normally. Once the steak was fixed it was delicious but the crab cake that I out on top of my steak was cold.

   Have been going to J Gilbert's for over 10 years, never had a bad meal. Ryan our server was attentive, and meals were properly cooked. Always a pleasurable evening.

   We enjoyed the Prix Fixe dinner on Easter. We chose from 3 courses. It was delectable. The food was cooked to order and the wait staff impeccable! I highly recommend J. Gilbert’s for your meal enjoyment.

   Emmanuel was absolutely amazing! He took care of us so well like family. Everyone who greeted us from beginning to end truly made my mother’s first time here a phenomenal experience. Thank you! We are definitely coming back.

   Truthfully, the food was very good but some of the dishes were not worth it. The seafood sampler is one small piece of salmon, a very tiny crab cake, 1 scallop and 2 shrimp. Not worth the price and the smallest seafood sampler I have ever had. The scallop dish was 3 scallops with corn. These dishes were very overpriced and not worth it. Our first time there but will not return.

    Couldn't think of better and delicious way 2 celebrate Easter than dining at J Gilberts. We were 2 menus Special Easter menu good selection of dinners. And J Gilberts regular menu. Went with Easter menu,had rack of lamb,my guest had prime rib. Our waiter Benjamin did excellent job serving,busy day managed 2 be very attentive . Serving on holiday can be challenging,he did great job. My dinner selection of rack of lamb was delicious and guest prime rib look delicious too. I want 2 come back and try the prime rib.
