   The food and atmosphere at j and g's is awesome. However, it is very expensive.

   Came here for a milestone 30th birthday. The the appetizers were the calamari and tuna tartar that were delicious. Followed by Filets, hanger steak , lobster, mac & cheese, and baked potato. Everything was great. The service was second to none!

   From the time we walked in the door till the time we left this was a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a very friendly host staff and immediately seated. Our waiter was prompt, quick, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was outstanding, and the scenery was even better. The General Manager Mike was exceptional and made the experience even better. I would Highly recommend.

   This is not a moderate option. It is expensive. The food was good but not exceptional. The views however are wonderful and our waiter was nice. For 3 people with a couple glasses of wine each and tips it was more than $500.

   The food was superb. Our head server, Michael, was fantastic. It was a great anniversary dinner that will be remembered.

   We had two colleagues here for a couple of days, and they had never seen the Phoenician Resort, so we went there for dinner. Love this place in the Spring and Summer. SO many flowers planted as you drive in and when you get there. Walked around the cactus and art garden, then went to the J&G Steakhouse. Service was impeccable, the food was outstand, and we could hear each other an talk all through dinner (getting so tired in the increase of music at high volume across the Valley). Walked out on the J&G patio to see the lights before heading out. They loved the place and it was a wonderful evening.

   The service was disappointing. My husband and I hadn’t been there for a few years. We were very excited to return. It seems our server was more interested in getting us out than having us be served.

   Restaurant is beautiful but food was not worth the price!Caesar salad was not at all good, dressing was mostly a mustard flavor, hard store bought type croutons, poor quality romaine! Filet was nice however was served on a cold plate so it was not hot when served! The salmon was Very salty, also not hot and very bland! The dinner rolls were dry! If you’re looking for a great steak dinner go to Dominick’s in Scottsdale!

    We tried some different items from our usual rib eye and a wedge. We were pleasantly surprised. Oysters were fresh fresh and tasty, edamame risotto was perfectly seasoned and al dente, wagyu skirt was tasty and tender accompanied by maybe the best fries ever(kept hot and crispy because they’re served in a cast iron small container) and did I mention homemade ice cream and sorbet?
