    You have reserved a true traditional Japanese experience floor seating (with no well under the table for legs). Remove your shoes, and take a step onto our tatami room. A garden window view completes this unique dining experience. This is a unique experience, but it can be challenging for those with limited flexibility. Please let us know in advance if you need to change these reservations, as we will not be able to offer other options upon arrival. Children under 10 are not recommended.

    A simply wonderful dinner with an adventurous tapa-style prix fixe four-course dinner, excellent sake - two starters, sashimi and spicily cucumber avocado salad, followed by fried gyoza and hamachi sushi roll, then wagyu short ribs and grilled crispy tuna collar, and desserts - a panna cotta with fresh fig and green tea honey with shortbread(!) and strawberry cheesecake with strawberry sorbet and strawberry sauce, which we ate with the coolest black weighted dessert teaspoons. Amazing!

    Always a treat! The smoked pork ribs never fail to be perfectly tender with sweet glazed crispy seared portions. The mocktails are incredible too!

    As always it was wonderful. Izanami is one of our favorite restaurants. We love everything about your restaurant and any chance we get we would go there, and our friends and family love going to Izanami when they are visiting us.

    We loved our experience at Izunami. My cousin told me I had to eat there and I'm thinking, "Japanese food in Santa Fe?" Just do it. The service, the food, the ambiance was all perfect. We did lunch and then booked spa treatments, and would do it again in a heartbeat!
