   We chose to come to this restaurant as a treat. The service was outstanding, our waiter was friendly, aware of what was going on with his customers (so we didn't have to wait to ask for extra drinks) but at the same time were not bothered at all by over chatty staff. The food was delicious, portion sizes were great to share, and the pricing was very reasonable. The interiors and atmosphere were great.I wouldn't come here casually as it's not the cheapest place, but would definitely recommend it for a special occasion or a treat.

   We enjoyed a birthday meal at Imli Street. The food was delicious if a little overpriced in places. We very much appreciated the waiting staff realizing it was a special occasion and bringing out a complementary dessert and candle. Worth a try!

   Had a lovely Saturday lunch a Imli - we said we were bringing a pram so they put us in a great spot out the way which was really helpful. Food was all delicious - really well cooked and very tasty - the tilapia starter was particularly good as were the main prawns. Drinks also were good - the lassis were SO creamy and flavour-packed. Good service and it wasn't very busy either so had a really relaxed meal. I would say that it is on the expensive side for lunch so it is more of a treat place than a "pop in for a quick lunch" - they should do a better value quick lunch menu. Their brunch menu looked delicious and good value so we will be back to try that. All in all it was a really good experience.

   The restaurant is centrally located in Soho and the decor inside is very cool and modern. The food was very tasty and included some great takes on modern dishes. We especially enjoyed the tandoor prawns and paneer (though be aware that the servings are quite small of these compared to e.g. the chicken), the smoked aubergine and the naan with mango and cardamom. The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredibly attentive all night and very helpful in terms of explaining the menu. Moreover, when our waiter could see that I hadn't been drinking my second cocktail as quickly as the first, he asked me how it was. I told him that there was nothing wrong with it but that I didn't enjoy it as much as the first. He offered to change it for me!

   We had been lucky to try some food from Imli at the Taste of London festival a few years ago and had planned to go there since then. We finally went for dinner on friday and were actually quite underwhelmed. Although the tandoori murgh and dal makhni that I ordered were good - they were nothing out of the ordinary but the real disappointment was my friend's lamb shank that was clearly cooked seperately and then had a curry sauce added to it - not only was it not marinated at all but it was actually stone cold on one side. She asked for it to be reheated and it was taken (with no apology) and brought back with more curry sauce dumped on top. Not what we would have expected and wished we hadn't bothered. There are better indian restaurants out there and Imli needs to up its game - sorry!

   The food is great. the coktails are with fresh fruits, original and tasty. the atmosphere is very nice as well as the decor of the restaurant. The chicken tika masala is amazing!

   London has enough choice in Indian restaurants that I wouldn't say Imli is the be all/end all in North Indian food, but everything we had was tasteful and well-prepared. The restaurant was rather lively (a bit noisy), but I would expect that in Soho on a Friday night. Service was prompt and attentive. Imli is a bit pricy- we ran to 45 quid/head with wine... but then again, it is Soho.

   Imli Street is one of the best restaurants we have been to in a while. Really easy going vibe, with excellent service and a real bargain. A little more choice on the menu may be to some peoples liking, but the food that was served was exceptionally good. I would definitely go again!

    Service was great as, despite arriving 45 mins late on a Friday night, we were still seated and never felt rushed even though the table was needed for another reservation quickly afterwards. The food was totally delish and we both went for items we had never tried before, but would definitely have again. Unfortunately did not have enough room for dessert, even though we were offered the menu - as I say, not rushed - a totally excellent meal with cocktails and wine. Have now been totally spoilt for any other Indian food - shame we live so far away or it would be our regular haunt!
