   All the food we had from appetizers to dessert was perfect, we will definitely be back soon. Our waiter, David was wonderful too!

   Although I have eaten at this restaurant dozens of times, hosted parties, and made it a tradition with my family, this is the first time I have ever given it less than a five star review. The service was totally off. Our server was very inattentive, pace of service was very slow, we had to repeatedly try to flag down our server, who never offered us the signature bread with olive oil & vinegar or a second round of drinks. We were ignored while tables that were seated after us were serviced attentively, and we found it impossible to get our server’s attention….like we were invisible. It was becoming our first really sub-par Il Fornaio experience, but the evening was saved by the asst GM, Celia, who noticed our discomfort, heard our concerns, took over for our server, and was very attentive and kind for the rest of our visit. I can only assume that our server was having a bad day, and I realize that no place can always have perfect service. Il Fornaio still ranks very high on our list of wonderful places to dine, and this one experience won’t our alter our general opinion of this restaurant.

   Ambiance was beautiful, it is a nice place to meet someone/people & have a conversation. Food is very good, price kind of pricey!! We had a good time though

   It took for ever to get our drinks from the bar. We literally waited over an hour for just one drink while others had received their wine. We had a party of 8. There’s was no “let me comp” you for this drink. More like “oh the bar is busy”. Poor, poor service. We have options here in MB and we really wanted to give you the business. The food was excellent but the wait and service was not good at all. Do better please.

   I had the pleasure of attending a business dinner at this wonderful venue, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. I would highly recommend this place for any business dinner or special occasion. It’s the perfect combination of excellent food, welcoming ambiance, and outstanding service.
