About this restaurant

Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

    The food was amazing and the service was great. I walked out without my handbag. By the time I realized it and called, they already had it waiting at the hostess stand. Thank you!!!

    Everything is made in house, so modifications and substitutions were easy to make. The food was delicious! Had amazing service too!

    Food was really good. The noise level would be the only thing I would have changed. Trying to catch up with a friend and talking is yelling.

    I have my birthday meal with friends here every year for good reason. Food, atmosphere, staff and anything else you can think of is excellent. I love this place.

    Staff at check in, wait staff and others had a bit of an attitude and constantly seemed on edge/impatient. Chicken batter coming off chicken and chicken fried steak. The potatoes side was fantastic. Simple coffee is nearly $8. Felt rushed and food quality has declined. Busy establishment so I’m sure they will be in business for a while and have good marketing. I’m not sure I’ll be back

    Had a girlfriend visiting and wanted to have shrimp & grits at Ida Claire before the Watertower Theatre show. The restaurant was busy and had great energy. We had the Crawfish hush puppies as an appetizer and they were tasty. The shrimp & grits were amazing! Shout out to our server Simon who was friendly, prompt, helpful and provided all around great service.
