Saison is driven by Lee’s dedication to purity and innovation, paired with a Grand Award-winning wine list in a dynamic space where guest and team celebrate an intimate, culture-shifting experience. When a guest walks through the door of Frascati, he or she is initially treated to a friendly and comfortable dining room. This tri-level restaurant features warm colors, high ceilings, antique light fixtures and street views of cable cars clanging up and down Hyde Street. The natural light and energetic atmosphere all convey a lively spirit.
Our cuisine is inspired from the Mediterranean coast and has strong Californian influences. The menu shifts frequently to utilize the best and freshest ingredients any season has to offer. Also, we pride ourselves on all of our house made desserts and ice creams.
Of equal importance, Frascati has become known for having an eclectic wine list which nicely complements the food.

Mr. Tipple’s heralds back to a 1950s NYC basement. Cozy. Dark. Boozy. The intimate setting features local jazz artists up close and personal. It’s a joint where you come as you are, hear great music, tap your toes, and sip a properly chilled cocktail.
-
My name is Mr. Tipple. Just a simple and laughable bloke hailing from London. I run a recording studio. My friends joke that you’ll oft find me spinning cocktails, not reeling tape. After a few too many, I usually just sit back and enjoy the music, having forgotten to hit record. Regardless, the band is always jiving, the whiskey is always cold, and we’re having a smashing good time.

- AAllenSan Francisco Bay Area •28 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 20, 2025We had a dinner here before our 7:30 pm Opera tickets. It was an easy walk from the Civic Center Parking Garage, as well as the War Memorial Auditorium. The food was delicious! The menu offered a variety of dishes, and a good drink menu as well. We started off by sharing a big bowl of Brussel sprouts with honey-lime vinaigrette - Delicious! My husband had Ropa Viejo with shredded angus beef, green olive, red bell pepper, tomato, and bacon. It was magnificent and filling! I had three chicken empanadas that were perfect. This delicious dinner was so filling, we were set for the rest of the evening. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a pre-theater meal any day of the week.More info¡Chao Pescao!Price: Moderate• Latin American• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.5
- CCynthiaSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 15, 2025My second time here at Son and Garden I really do love this brunch spot and has easily become one of my favorite spots. On my first visit I did the tea experience and it was fantastic but I wanted to also try the regular brunch that looked amazing. I went with the Korean Benedict and the matcha pancakes which I split with my kid. Both dishes were awesome flavorful and I highly recommend to try. For drink I got the into the forest and that was very delicious and refreshing. I can’t wait to come back again and try some of the other popular dishes they have.More infoSon & Garden - San FranciscoPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.4

Discover San Francisco
Farm-to-table is everywhere now, but it was here first. Just north of San Francisco, the values-forward counties of Marin and Sonoma offer an abundance of sustainably sourced produce. Of course, there’s more to eat in the Bay than leafy greens alone though—don’t miss the mainstays like Cioppino (a seafood stew best eaten with thick-cut garlic bread), Mission-style burritos, local oysters and Neapolitan pizza where pizzerias around town war for the ultimate version. The city has long been home to distinct international flavors, so for authentic dim sum, Chinatown tops the charts. The Mission is ablaze with longstanding taquerias, steakhouses and a new wave of artisanal bakeries and coffee houses. And the Fisherman’s Wharf, while touristy, is the spot for Bay caught seafood. From there, we recommend walking to Crissy Field for Golden Gate Bridge gazing and sparkling sunshine.
