Hendrick’s Tavern is an expandable event space that can meet the needs of any size party up to a seated dinner for 125 guests. It consists of two bar areas, three private dining rooms, a VIP bar for cocktail parties, and a ballroom for large catering events. The bars are equipped with plenty of high top table seating for dining and are perfect for trying some of the tasty small plate offerings or any of the full menu entrees. The George Bar, so named for the historic portraits of George Washington that adorn the walls, features full screen TV’s available to the public Tuesday through Saturday.

What started as a party of 3 turned into a party of 12- the restaurant accommodated us and even put us in a quieter area as requested. Food, drinks and service were great

Disappointing. Eggplant/zucchini stack was good,.The scallops were served on top of a glop of avocado and corn that had cilantro (not mentioned). The short ribs and salmon were tasteless. Our waiter was busy in another room and never came back to us after ordering. Another waiter came by for dessert order. We mentioned our disappointment , he shrugged and walked away.

Such a wonderful Easter. Food was on point considering we were a 14 top. Our server Herman (not sure of spelling!) was such a pleasure and made the experience even better.

Had a wonderful Easter dinner. Although there was quite a crowd, we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Our waiter could not be more attentive. Appetizers -fried calamari and Burrata were excellent. Our waiter asked us when we wanted our main meal order to be placed. Ample time between courses. The halibut, skirt steak, short ribs, and Tomahawk were cooked to our exact specifications. By mid May, outside seating should be open and we will return!

Overall we had a good time and the food was decent. However, this was our first time dining at Hendrick’s Tavern and according to “Open Table” the dress code is “casual dress”. We used Open Table to make our reservations so we dressed casually and we were met with disdain from some of the waitstaff. Please fix this error so other will not be embarrassed.
