   Service was great, except for the fact that the bartender sent me the dirtiest martini I've ever experienced, despite my having made myself very clear about NOT wanting a dirty Hendricks martini. (They made it right immediately.) The live piano music was a nice feature, and the pianist was a lovely person.

   Easter dinner... limited menu but was very good. Quality meal with upscale service. Will go back to be able to sample the regular menu.

   Incredibly overpriced. Service was good but rushed. Our brunch experience lasted 40 minutes! It was $190.00 for two people with a tip. The menu was a fixed price of $55.00 pp. We did not receive a bread basket as was stated on the menu. The starters were French toast which was delicious or a yogurt berry parfait which was good. We both ordered the steak and eggs. Scrambled eggs were loaded with chives. Fingerling potato’s were hard and not cooked through. Thin steak strips, about 5, were fried with lots of onions. Salad greens were tasty. I did not eat the tomato’s and onions. Very onion forward dish. My husband did not mind that but I hate onions! We each had one cocktail and one of us had one cup of coffee. At no time was that offered to be refilled. We had requested to be seated at a high top table but were given a regular table. The overall experience was not good. At the prices they are charging, everything should be excellent.

   Leslie, Haywoods is so sorry you got caught in the rush of Easter Brunch and the staff forgot your bread basket. Anytime you visit and you are not happy with our food just let our staff or a manager know and we will fix it promptly. We try our best to accommodate seating requests however with a small restaurant and only 2 high top tables we cannot always meet the table, time and party size requests. Thanks for your comments and we will consider your suggestions.

   Our Lexington dinner go to has been Bistro on Main, so we were delighted with our dining experience, the food, the service and outstanding pianist playing Elton John, Billy Joel and other songs we requested!

   Haywood’s is probably the best place in Lexington for fine dining. Lots of positives. Only negative is a small menu. Highly recommended.

   Service is poor. It took 15 minutes for a host even come to the front to seat us, even though we had a reservation. The server took forever to come to our table about drinks. We ordered as soon as we could, but the appetizer didn’t come until 45 minutes later. The steak and eggs had about 4 tiny strips of steak. We didn’t have silverware when they brought our food out, then it took them awhile to bring silverware (this happened the last time we went). The food was ok, not worth the price and the wait. There are much better restaurants in Lexington.

   Haywoods would like to apologize for the poor service you received.I am not sure what happened with the staff but be assured this is not what our guest normally receive or should accept.    Kevin and the service was fantastic. The food was our favorite that we tried in the area and the gentleman playing the piano was so talented. Had a great night.

    Haywood’s was strictly ok. If you are looking for a fine dining experience I would consider looking elsewhere. The broccolini was under cooked, the crispy potatoes were soggy and the steak was underwhelming no flavor no crust, bland! On the other hand the Caesar salad and wine was good. The $14 dollar tiny piece of baklava was atrocious.
