   We love the Hart House because the food is consistently exceptional and the ambiance is second to none. Servers are appropriately helpful and attentive.

   Great experience, weather was amazing we were seated in the garden room and view to lawn area was great. Food portion were excellent and a great value. All very tasty, mussels, Lamb shank, risotto, and halibut. All super good, as usual never disappoints

   There are much better options in the lower mainland. Food is lacking in presentation and flavor. The restaurant cleanliness also needs improvement and there is an off putting smell as soon as you walk in.

   Dear Jon, Appreciate the feedback—but it’s a bit of a stretch to judge our food quality based on just two dishes, one being a classic breakfast with eggs, sausage, and potatoes. It’s not meant to be flashy, just solid and satisfying. We’re open to criticism, but when someone says “there are better restaurants in the Lower Mainland,” that feels more like a sweeping opinion than a fair comparison. Sure, some places do things differently—that’s the beauty of variety. But let’s keep it real. We’ll still take your notes seriously and look into the concerns you raised. Cheers, Erkan

   The Hart House is a beautiful restaurant in a great setting. However, the quality of the food at the prices leaves a lot to be desired. For example, the caesar salad had no dressing or cheese and was just a few pieces of wilted lettuce with crutons and a few roasted cauliflower florets. The brisket burger was mediocre. If the food could be made tastier, then it would be a great dining experience.

   Great food, staff were friendly and the vibe was cozy but not loud. Prices were fair for the quality. Would definitely come back!

   We had a lovely evening of great food, wine and awesome staff !! The squid was absolutely delicious and their main course of halibut and lamb was outstanding

    Great food and service as always. Consistently one of the best burgers around. Never been disappointed at Hart House.
