   The aesthetics of the restaurant and the vibe as you make your way to the table are impressive. While our server was kind, the overall attitude of the staff had us feeling out of place. We had to stop a member of staff to have the menu explained to us (and the explanation was more of a short Q&A rather than a “tour” of the menu)… which is fine, but I’m used to that kind of thing just being offered from the start. The food was good and came out quickly, but the price was a bit over the top considering the incredibly small portions. The place felt overstaffed, with many just standing and watching and not really doing anything. It makes one wonder if we must pay higher prices to keep all of the staff paid who just stand and look around. It was a “glad I went and tried it” sort of experience for me, but I wouldn’t go again. For the price, I can get food that’s just as good but with a more comfortable service experience nearby.

   We are visitors from India and our schedule for Easter Sunday underwent changes due to certain emergency. This led us to Hakkasan about an hour earlier than our scheduled time. But we were received courteously, provided a table without any fuss or loss of time. The food was good but certainly not top class.But the service was. We were impressed with attentive service. The table was too small for our 5 items of food, water bottle, beverages and sauce bowls. That was a discomfort.

   The food was wonderful but what truly elevated the experience was the quality of the service. Everyone knew what they were doing, seemingly without communicating, and were attentive without being disruptive. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

   I like the vibes with the food presentation the beef mongolion was best and the chicken crispy spring roll was amazing

   Not bad. A bit dark and moody downstairs-like a sexy cafeteria-but the food was really good. The menu leads with the tasting menus up front but you can find a la carte options towards the end of the book. I built my own tasting with the crab soup then duck salad and Chilean sea bass. Our server was really nice. A bit on the pricier side but overall I’d go again. Really good flavours.
