   James D. was fantastic. He made wonderful recommendations! We enjoyed the Octopus to start, then the Filet Flight MR with a half order of the miso cod. The miso cod is rich, the half order portion was perfect. James recommended a half order of the gnocchi and we were so glad! Delicious! Fun ambiance, great selection of wine, fantastic service!

   My fiance and I went here for our 8th anniversary, and we were completely blown away by the food, the attentiveness. The staff really pulled out all the stops to make the night special for us. I could not reccomend this place enough.

   We walked into Guard and Grace, buzzing with nerves and excitement—we were there for a surprise re‑proposal. Somehow, the staff caught our vibe right away. The host flashed a smile that said, Relax, you’re in good hands. Our server stopped by just often enough, chatting like an old friend and never making us feel rushed or like we didn’t belong. The space is gorgeous—high ceilings and an open kitchen bursting with energy—but honestly, it’s the people who make the place glow. When the ring came out, the team was ready to share the moment and our happiness: a big “Congratulations!” here, loud cheers there. It felt like a dream. And the food… wow. Steaks landed perfectly charred, the sides disappeared fast, but the moment burned into my memory is dessert. The kitchen sent out a warm pineapple‑carrot cake—dreamy, a little tropical—our own miniature wedding cake. One candle, an electric atmosphere, and suddenly life felt huge and tiny all at once. Guard and Grace didn’t just serve dinner; they gave us a memory etched in our hearts, wrapped in kindness, great food, and genuine celebration. Whether you’re catching up with friends or swapping rings, this is the place you want on your side. I left with a fuller heart—and an even fuller belly—and that’s saying something.

   We went to one of their twice a year brunches for Easter. It was wonderful! The pigs and blanket were awesome and don’t even get me started on the short rib hash! Staff was courteous and friendly!

   My husband and I had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I had written in the reservation notes that we live a sober lifestyle and were celebrating my husband's birthday. Upon being seated, our server, Travis, presented us with mocktail options. And then at the end of our delicious dinner, my husband was given a sweet treat AND a birthday card signed by the staff, including a personalized message from our server that noted the year birthday we were celebrating. This attention to detail was so appreciated- thank you! We'll be back if ever Denver!

    How can you put into words such an incredible experience we had at this restaurant. From the outstanding food . . . to the outstanding cocktails . . . to the outstanding service, Guard & Grace blew us away. What an unbelievable evening was had by all and by far this is the top restaurant that I have ever had the privilege of dining at! Thank you!
