   My wife was wuite explicit as to what she wanted, or did not want, namely bacon. Yet her entree was served with with a generous portion of bacon. So it had to gi back and be prepared afain. Meantime my food had arrived and I was finishing just as hers arrived. Thus seems to be a problem as the same occurred on our most previous visit.

   Distracting from an otherwise great evening were several young mothers who brought their 3 year old children to Happy Hour. The management allowed some kids to sit at the bar. It wasn't crowded since this was Monday evening, but it was not appropriate.

   Made a reservation for 515PM on a Saturday. Olney Thearte was over early and got there about an hour early. Was still seated immediatly. Waitor was friendly and prompt with service.

   Great service from well trained staff, terrific American style menu consistently prepared by a team of skilled kitchen staff. Food really is excellent and served in an "upscale casual" room. Booths are separated from tables which focus on action in the kitchen. Also a large separate dining room for parties of 20-30 or more. Our group enjoyed Saturday "brunch": eggs over easy with sausage and hash browns from real potatoes were fabulous. No rubbery egg whites, no greasy potatoes--such a pleasure. Same for the egg white omelette with spinach and mushrooms--tender, fluffy. One in our party had pasta with steak tips which disappeared before the rest of us were half done--creamy, nicely spiced, a good amount of steak with penne pasta, a two thumbs up. If you haven't been, give it a try. Their regular menu is fantastic, too!

   We go there because the oysters are the best around. Ask for Tom to be your waiter if you want excellent service.

   My wife and I go there primarily for the oysters. They always seem very well chilled and fresh. Recently, I ordered crab cakes and didn't think that they were not very good. The last time, we shared a rack of ribs and baked potato, and both were good except that the potato had a large black spot on the bottom which should have been removed by the cook before letting it be served that way.

   Hostess staff had our table ready in the section we requested. The service was outstanding! Our server presented the specials and gave us enough time to make our decision without hovering! Love you guys!!

   We have eaten dinner here several times and the food and service has consistently been good. On this last occasion, we had a group of five for a small dinner in honor of my wife's birthday. All of our meals were excellent, including her crab cake and my prime rib. Our server was thoughtful, knew from the comment that I made on Open Table when making the reservation that it was her birthday, and was extremely helpful and attentive. Great choice for dinner if you're in the Olney, MD area.

   The food was excellent, but after the appetizer, we waited and waited while everyone around us were served. Our waiter finally let us know that our ticket had been lost in the kitchen, and gave us another appetizer while we waited. Because of having 2 large appetizers, we were not able to finish the delicious entree once it came, and asked for a box to take the food home that was left over. The waiter took the plates but only put the meat in the box, although we had wanted all of the vegetables and sides as well which were barely touched. Very disappointing when we got home! Next time, we hope there will be more communication!

    one of us had the Kona ribeye and the other the crab cakes both meals were very good
