   Everyone in our party enjoyed the entire experience. The BBQ ribs were the best that I have had in a very long time, and will definitely plan to return.

   We had a great experience, drinks were tasty and the food is amazing. However, there is a giant ceiling fan that was rotating and we were uncomfortably cold. We asked the waiter if it could be turned off, and he said that someone earlier had asked and he was told by the owner that it could be adjusted since it was connected somehow with the lights. It felt like we were sitting next to an open door to the cold air outside. The waiter was super nice, overall great experience.

   The food is great. They really take care of you. Food is deliciously prepared, nicely plated. The servers are very personable. The servers take care of refilling your drinks and anything else you need.

   This was our second time dining at GrillMarX and I really want to love this restaurant but . . . First the good things, we made a reservation on Valentines Day and were sat right away. We had a friendly waiter who checked in at the right times and didn't "hover". The food was served at the correct time without feeling rushed. The food was good, but not great. The grilled artichoke (which we had had before and loved) was cold on the inside. To me it seemed like it had been frozen and they put it on the grill but didn't give it enough time to warm through. My prime rib needed a touch on salt or at least the au jus, but the outside rub was super salty, so if you took a well done bit with the medium rare middle it worked out ok, but I tend to only eat the medium rare part. The baked potato on the other hand was over salty. I also think it's strange to get charged "extra" for a loaded bake potato. I think it should come with everything versus getting charged for toppings. The creamed spinach I ordered as a side appeared to be the spinach and artichoke dip that is served as an appetizer that is re-purposed for a side dish . . . it wasn't great by itself. We split a chocolate cake for dessert and again it was good, but not great. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke and maybe a new cook in the back. We'll try this restaurant again, but for the price of our dinner which I would consider expensive (over $150 with tip and includes a moderately priced bottle of wine) you want/expect the food to be great.

   Food was excellent. Service was ok. The hostess was less than welcoming. For a special night I was expecting more than a small table in the corner. When I requested a different table I was told they were reserved. Yet they sat open for our whole dinner. I made a reservation so I was expecting to be treated better than a walk in. That being said the food is great so maybe we will give them another try.

   We arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation. Hanna, the hostess greeted us promptly and treated us like great friends. She checked our and found that I had had flowers sent for the table. She called one of the bussers over to the side and explained. He discretely went to the back, retrieved the flowers and placed them on the table. Hanna then took us to our table. It was perfect. it was a quiet booth, with the flowers prominently displayed, yet out of the way. Shortly after we were seated, our server Gavin made his appearance. Again, you would swear were old friends. He took his time explaining the specials and answered all of our questions. As the evening wore on, Gavin made sure that all of his tables received the same kind of attention. (He would appear out of nowhere with drink refills) The food was excellent and the service outstanding. GrillMarX Clarksburg is our go-to place for special occasions.

   Food was good, however I would much very prefer receiving salad before entree. Both were served at the exact same time which means that if you want to start with your salad, your entree will get cold.

   My husband I come here often with another couple and their daughter. The staff is wonderful with kids and always super attentive. The food is consistently great, I've tried a number of meals and have not been disappointed yet.

   We have been to this location before as well as Olney and always enjoyed it. Our server was either disengaged or highly overwhelmed. When she spoke to us we could barely hear her and every request was forgotten or wrong. But for the most part we can overlook it as it's not like she was rude. The food is where is really hurt. The kona ribeye was served lukewarm for both us. The side was forgotten on my husband's plate and my side was not how I ordered it. Based on our server we kept it moving. We ended up getting dessert and thats really what was the icing on the cake if you will. My husband got the apple crisp which was watery and barely warm. I got the warm chocolate cake and I've had better Little Debbie's. My theory based on how it's served most desserts and or plates are frozen right down to the whipped cream which has that layer like it was pre spooned.... The cake was dry. It definitely didn't seem like the desserts were prepared made by them. My opinion is the price didn't equal what we received.

    I enjoy going to GrillMarX Steakhouse & Raw Bar in Clarksburg very much. The service is excellent and the food is great. The menu has lots of choices so everyone in your group can be satisfied.
