About this restaurant

  • Great for scenic views
  • Good for business meals
  • Great for outdoor dining
Owners Greg & Teresa Hubert opened Greg's Grill in the spring of 2007. Their long history in the restaurant industry and passion for excellent service and great food led them to create a beautiful restaurant that reflects their high standards and attention to detail.
Situated in the heart of the historic Old Mill District of Bend Oregon, Greg's Grill sits amidst the bustle of movie theaters, art galleries and restaurants.
A lively place for any occasion, it offers a variety of foods with an emphasis on contemporary Northwest cuisine to include rotisserie prime rib, choice-cut steaks, seafood, and chicken cooked to perfection.
Inside, Northwest style architecture utilizes natural materials and floor-to-ceiling windows, which overlook beautifully landscaped patios, the Deschutes River and the Cascade mountain range. Greg's Grill is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy good times with friends and family.

The food was not that great, very over hyped. My drink was also not mixed very well had chunks of coconut mixer in the bottom.

Front our first moment in…the experience was everything we could have hoped for. We were seated at the window overlooking the River. We all chose the lunch special of pasta and Caesar salad. Both dishes were beyond wonderful in taste and texture. We were celebrating our aunts 90th birthday and she got to choose a special dessert. Our waitress was attentive to our needs but not hovering. What a sweet one! The whole experience was a treat! Loved it! We will return anytime we are in Bend.

Greg’s Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in Bend. The space is trendy, the location on the river is superb, and while there’s an energy to the place, it’s quiet enough to be able to visit. The food is excellent. It’s not an extensive menu, but there’s a nice variety of options. The portions are quite generous, so if we don’t want to take food home, my husband and I share an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert; otherwise, we have enough leftovers for another meal. The wine and cocktails list is extensive and features a selection of very good drinks. Our waiter, Chancellor, was quite attentive and knew exactly when it was time to check on us. His service was excellent. We highly recommend Greg’s Grill!

A complete heist. Food is mediocre at best, and up-charged at premium prices. The management knows they are foisting sub-par product on hapless diners in a brazen rip off. And if they don’t know it, they have no reason being in the restaurant business. “Steak” sandwich? That’s the same overcooked, dry, deli sliced beef roast they use in the French Dip offering. Lemonade? That’s the same bottled Minute Maid crap you can get out of a vending machine. BBQ pork ribs? A unseasoned rack baked in the oven, then smothered in mesquite sauce straight from a jar. Ahi appetizer? 5 tiny pieces of C grade, sesame crusted, sashimi on a plate, along with a pile of raw shredded carrots straight from a bag, 5 slices of cucumber and a little pile of pickled ginger - also from a jar. $20. for that masterpiece. The clam chowder tastes suspiciously like canned soup, only slightly doctored up. The mushy diced carrots inexplicably included in the bowl are a dead giveaway. Ask for bread? Receive exactly 4 stale, wafer-thin pieces of focaccia and a butterball. Save yourselves and your pocket book. Greg’s doesn’t respect its customers. Apparently they think we’re so stupid as to mistake their lackluster fare for cuisine, or too polite to call them on it.

It was pretty good. Ribeye was cooked great, but too thin a cut for my liking.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner and conversation on a Saturday evening. Apparently they have started doing karaoke on weekends and it was so loud (and obnoxious ) that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Very disappointed and we won’t be back— such a shame, Greg’s Grill used to be one of our favorites.
