   We made a reservation for New Year's Eve on an overnight layover at DFW and are sure glad we did. We were tired after the first leg of our trip from Boston to San Jose Costa Rica and the Grand Met provided us with everything we needed. Quick service for cocktails and our first appetizer, then attentive and helpful attention after we relaxed. We decided to order from the left side of the menu after the lovely, but filling whipped feta (with yoghurt, pistachios and crispy chick peas, served with wonderfully toasted naan). My wife had the crab cakes and I the ahi tuna, and we split the sauteed mushrooms. Each dish was perfect and the tuna could be served as a main. We skipped desert, had a wonderful night at the Hyatt and left with great memories. I would book another connection through Dallas to eat at The Grand Met again.

   This nice restaurant is worth a visit to the airport even if you are not leaving town! Validated free parking, too!

   server did a very nice job and its location is good, only think is in airport situation take the credit card as soion as possible to ensure bill is paid and you can move quickly to gate when your done

   Excellent service and good food. Nice ambience and so convenient when you a stay at the Hyatt in terminal D.

   I had dinner at Grand Met as a part of a conference I attended. I had the Filet with the Roasted Tomato and Goat Cheese Polenta. It was hands down the best steak I've ever had in my life. You could literally cut it with a fork. It melted in my mouth and required little to no chewing at all. The steak was so good, that the next day, I convinced my husband that we should go so he could experience the same dinner I had the night before. My husband is now a believer that it is the best steak ever. The service from Wendy and Elmer was phenomenal. They make excellent recommendations and the conversation was great too. JaBryant, the manager and I bonded over the three days I was there and he is outstanding at his job! He engages with the customers and makes sure you are satisfied with your service. We were extremely satisfied with the drinks, appetizers, meals and desserts we consumed over the three day period. It is very handy having a restaurant and bar in the terminal that you are flying out of. It eliminates having to catch an Uber out of the airport to find a place to have a meal. We will be back in May and we are so excited to visit this restaurant again.

   In my experience, this is one of the best airport hotel restaurants in the US. The food was creative and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. I had ahi tuna to start and curried salmon as an entree - lovely.

   I had a 4 hour layover at DFW, and decided to try to meet a longtime friend who lives in the area for lunch. I made a 12:15 pm reservation on a Wednesday afternoon. I was able to deplane at 11:40 am in B terminal, take the SkyLink to D22/Grand Hyatt and arrive early to the Grand Met at 12:00. By the way, The Grand Hyatt is just outside security and to your left at gate D22. Everyone from reception to wait staff were super nice. My friend was late bc of work and waitstaff patiently accommodated me waiting almost an hour for her to arrive. I ordered the Steak Frites and it was piping hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. My friend and I said our goodbyes about 2:45. I went through TSAPre✅ at D30, hopped on the SkyLink to Terminal A with probably 40 minutes to spare before my 3:45 departure. I loved being able to meet my friend for lunch in a quiet, non-crowded restaurant with excellent food without ever having to leave the airport. I highly recommend eating here if you have the time between flights.

   Tremendous food for a hotel especially given that they are one of the few options available before security. The service was also incredible, ask for Elmer. He’s great!
