    The food arrived very quickly and was very good. However, the service from receiving food to waiting for dishes to be cleared for the next order was slow, as was the service to reorder another dish. It was very noisy, and we were unable to have a decent conversation without yelling. We will, however, look at the website to find out the hours it isn't too crowded because the food was good enough for a return trip.

    Crab cakes should be better. Tired recipe. Not super authentic to Maryland/Chesapeake tradition. Needs work.

    We were looking forward to our first visit to the Oyster Bar. It will be the last. Service was extremely slow, even though the it did not appear very busy. At least half of our orders came out incorrect or not at all. Chose a Caymus Cabernet from wine list, but that not what we received. We left very disappointed.

    I haven’t been here in more than ten years, and it was just as wonderful as I remember. It will always be a NYC icon and a cherished culinary journey.

     Our waiter was very friendly, the oysters excellent, and my New Zealand fresh salmon absolutely delicious I’ve been going to this place for years. I’m always enjoy it and I think you get good value for money.
