   Once again: fantastic. I tried one of the (very few) items I'd never ordered - the striped bass in broth - and was blown away. The fish is done perfectly, and complemented by tender potatoes and turnips nesting in a savory fish/tomato broth that was incredibly delicious (note to Gjelina: include a few slices of toasted, rustic bread for sopping.) Also: it's a portion big enough for two, especially if you're also having one or two sides.

   One of my all time favorite, always consistent, clean eating restaurants with extraordinary and unique dishes that I can never get enough of. The duck, the salads, the veggies, the steak, it just really doesn’t get more outstanding than Gjelina. And a beautiful wine list!

    We have dined at Gjelina many times in the past and have had a great experience However on Thurs 1/23 we had a reservation for dinner After seating we wanted to place an order for food and asked the server to keep the dressing on the side for religious reasons She wanted to confer with her manager whether this would constitute a modification Her manager Daniel came to our table with sone assumptions and bias and was very aggressive and had an intimidating body language We pointed this out to him And it enraged him and he became more aggressive and disrespectful We apprised him that we had been to Gjelina before and that this particular experience was shocking to say the least We left after paying for the sparkling water we had started with Management needs to look into this entire episode and check camera footage if any available We felt harassed unnecessarily and management may want to follow up on why this happened Feel free to contact me for any clarification Dr Suneeti S
