   pleasant small friendly restaurant. table for 2 is very small, friendly staff, nice menu choices, reasonable wind list. Considering there were many open tables and mid week at times we felt rushed between courses. Veal was good but not the best quality my wife's pasta dish was very good. Walking distance to the Beacon Theater.

   This is a very small restaurant; seating is tight and the noise level high. That said, the food and wine are very good. Great choice of wine and Belgium beers too. My husband and I dined their prior to a show at the Beacon Theatre which is a short walk from the restaurant. I had a arugula salad and butternut squash filled ravioli in a sage butter which was delicious. My husband had a minestrone soup and a pizza; both of which were yummy. We would go back again.

   This is a friendly neighborhood restaurant with good salads, pretty good pizza, and ok (though perhaps a bit overpriced) pasta. It was overwhelmed when we arrived with a 700 pm reservation, and we were kept waiting almost half an hour before being seated. And there's no bar area at which to wait. It was very noisy until the crowd thinned out after about 830pm. The wine list had reasonable choices at reasonable prices and the staff were friendly and capable, once we sat down. There are tables outside, and on a pleasant day they would be an attractive option for lunch or a casual supper.

   Based on viewing the menu, and the place from outside, my wife and I expected nothing special. We were wrong. The food, if simple, was delicious: honestly made, with no conflicting gimmicks. The ambience and the service were nothing out of the ordinary, but the kitchen did a great job. We'll come again.

   No fluff here - it's all about the food and the friendly staff. A joy every time we go there.

   Was looking for a new place to try close to The Beacon Theater. What a lovely place. It is small but cozy. Pretty decor and the food was terrific. Good wine and friendly service. They asked if we were going to a show and put in our order right away to get us there on time. I would return.

   Food, wine and cappuccino were delicious! Seating is a bit tight, and the noise level quite high, but well worth it. Will definitely go back again when I an in the area!!

   This was the second time we ate here prior to a show at the Beacon Theatre. It was recommended by a friend and we loved it the first time, the second was just a good. I don't think there is a poor choice on the menu. You must make a reservation in advance or you won't get in.

    When we walked into the restaurant there was an overwhelming smell of bleach. Not a nice smell to accompany a dinner. Both of us had salads which were very good along with house wine which was also a good choice. The waitstaff was very polite and fine but there appeared to be only one waitress for the entire restaurant which is small. I would not go back because of the smell and it was not a relaxing atmosphere - Tables were crammed together. OK for a quick dinner when the other place is booked up.
