Service was great and our waiter was very friendly as well as the general manager walking around and handing out his cards. The space is very small and given that much of the staff seemed to be walking around a lot the entire time and waiting near the walls, gave an even more cramped experience. Tables are too close for comfort to other guest. As for the prices regarding their meals, there is much much better elsewhere. I expected much better in terms of quality and flavor. Our asparagus was burnt a bit too much for our liking as well as the side of mash potatoes being extremely salty and not finishing more than a quarter of the dish which by the way the portion was huge. The main dishes of their salmon and steak were okay but nothing amazing where I’d return to want more. And for being the main dishes there wasn’t much quantity. The dessert ordered was their Crème brûlée and the top was pretty burnt. Service was great but in terms of food and showcasing as a high end restaurant , there is better food out there for less pricing and much more taste. Do not see myself returning.

Food is always good at Gibson’s. Had the Chicago Cut, enjoyed some oysters half shell. Good wine selection. Room was a bit over crowded because of the new year holiday, but the level of service remained excellent(impressive) despite the uptick in business.

My experience on NYE was outstanding. Everyone from the hostesses to the wait staff, bus staff and manager were pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable. The food and drinks were impeccable.
