   Took friends there for one of their birthdays. They offer free Spiedini on your birthday and he wanted Italian so it seemed perfect since he had never been there before so I made reservations. Still had to wait about 15 minutes. That's okay. Poor service, rude servers and cold food was an embarrassment for my wife and I in suggesting and taking our guests there. They haven't been real warm and fuzzy in there and we thought that maybe that's their mafia /gangsta wannabe image they portray but they almost made us feel just too uncomfortable when we brought up my guest's birthday. I told them they would want to verify his birthday with his license and she hammered it because anybody could come in here saying it was their birthday and try to get a free meal. Okay, we get it. Not a biggy but I think that must have put us a the bottom of the list for service because the food was cold and took forever. We always get a artichoke for the table and this time it was small. cold and very little butter on it. It was actually dry. She kept bringing up the license thing a few times and he kept telling her he would give it to her each time but she left with other tables items in her hands. Good food served cold makes bad food. Inexcusable. The server didn't bring entrees table side so something was weird about the whole thing. We had 3 other entrees and appetisers plus a couple cocktails each so it wasn't like we were going on the cheap. I've always liked the the food at Garozzo's but less and less each time. More than not we've fared poorly with pleasant servers for years now. The one on 135th lasted just a couple years but no surprise. I also know it's not always the servers fault but poor management. Sorry to the few really nice servers we've had there over the years. Too many other Italian food alternatives close by. I hope they get it together. The competition will be our next Italian delight. Thanks for the good years Garozzo's.

   Typically a quiet romantic atmosphere, Saturday we were seated at a booth in the bar. This allowed us to watch football and our kids to let loose a little. Same great food/service we keep going back for.

   Garozzo’s is a restaurant that is great for any occasion. Food was Excellent, Service was Excellent. Go & enjoy you won’t disappointed.

   I took my wife here for her birthday on a busy Friday night. There was a short delay for reservations which did not personally bother me but had the panties of several of the snooty upper class patrons all in a bunch. These people were insufferable drunks, and the staff deserved better. The service was terrific and the food was delicious. My wife received a complimentary dessert and her meal was free since it was her birthday. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   Enjoyable dining with good food and wine. Service was attentive and not rushed. Veal and pasta dishes were very good and the limoncello cake was the finishing touch!

   Mediocre Italian food. Great salads though. Dark cold atmosphere. Not great service. Lots of people working to serve, take orders, make drinks, bus tables, yet our dinner took 2 hours. There’s too many other places to eat to go back here.

   One of our favorite local spots. We haven’t found a dish we don’t love on the menu. We will always return. Service tonight was slow due to homecoming but the waitress was so nice and manager gave us free desserts.
