   This restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food in a refined Korean barbecue setting with a great view. It wasn’t busy on a Thursday night, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even adjusting for my friend’s slight delay in arrival.

   10/10 would bring my hard-to-impress Korean parents here. This is an elevated take on Korean BBQ that activated the bliss centers of my brain and had me happy dancing more than once. WOW. Opted for the à la carte path: Mushroom Tangsoo: WOWOWOW. Crispy, delicate, and so juicy—I didn’t know mushrooms could be this juicy. I’ll be thinking about this dish for a while. Braised Pork Belly: Another WOW. The accompanying kimchis were incredible. Pro tip: a bit of salted shrimp on the pork, a slice of radish, wrapped in the white kimchi = the perfect bite. Meats: We ordered a few cuts. My friends wanted medium rare, I wanted medium—no problem. The staff cooked everything to perfection. Even when another team member took over, they remembered to leave mine on a little longer. The attention to detail 👏👏👏 Cucumber Kimchi: Don’t sleep on it!! Egg Soufflé: Usually my favorite dish. The texture here was fantastic, but there was a slight charred aftertaste. Dolsot Bibimbap: Solid. I’ll probably skip it next time to try more appetizers—but if you’re a bibimbap person, it’s definitely worth a go. The Finale – Mandarin Yuzu Vacherin: They stuck the landing with the desserts. Like spring in my mouth—exquisite, refreshing, and most importantly, not too sweet. SO GOOD.

   Service and food were amazing! I had my baby with me and they treated us great ! Some places can be weird about 4 month old dining but he slept and the service was great , they didn’t make me take him out of the stroller they sat us by the window with space for the stroller ! I was so grateful. Food amazing as always too !

   Great experience overall. We arrived early to have a cocktail before dinner. Nice bar seating area with a view. Just a suggestion to the owners the tables and chairs are basic and shabby and are long overdue for replacement however. The main restaurant however was well appointed and we had an excellent table overlooking the city with a view of the sunset over the Hudson River. Two of us had the BBQ which was cooked at the table and was tender and delicious. The third member of our group had fish and said it was also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.

   Awesome experience with friendly staffs and great food! We enjoyed our time there. I had a wonderful birthday celebration. Will definitely visit again!

   We had an incredible experience thanks to the welcoming staff and outstanding food. We loved every moment with a beautiful view. The premium-quality meat perfectly enhances the sophisticated ambiance, making for an unforgettable Korean BBQ. Especially, I want to give special thanks to Jason, the general manager, who is professional and has done his best; we can't wait to return.

   This is our second time dinning at Gaonnuri. We had a great time each time. The servers are attentive and helpful in serving as well as recommending dishes and how well certain cut of meat needs to be grilled to achieve the best taste. This restaurant is great with friends get together for a great meal as well as families with kids out for a nice dinner. Also the view of NYC skyline is just amazing! Will definitely visit again!!
