   Our waiter was attentive and pleasant, engaged in converstion with us. The menu is limited. Our entrees were good, flavorful but not out of this world noteworthy. We sat outside, the weather was beautiful and the grounds nicely landscaped.

   We have been to Gala many times and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This visit was a disappointment. Service was extremely slow, took an hour to get our appetizers, which were salads. One of our meals, the half chicken, was extremely over cooked and inedible. The scallops were just OK, on a happy note the salmon was delicious.

   Fined at Gala after an afternoon at the Clark Institute in Williamstown. Luckily the weather was perfect so we are outside in the lovely garden. Although the menu is limited, we all found something to suit out taste. Salad was very fresh, burger was huge, and the fish ‘n chips crispy coconut crust was delicious. Service was friendly & efficient. We will return.

   Only one server and she couldn’t have been sweeter, but service was very slow. Food was good but nothing special.

   Food was terribly overpriced for how bad it was. Steaks were dry and boring. Server was alone and clearly inexperienced. She was extremely pleasant but clearly needs better training or maybe better management and better help. I've been a server for 12 years and this place clearly needs a lot of improvement. We paid 141$ for food that had worse flavor then Taco Bell. Would never go back nor recommend this place. Better restaurants in the area.

   The restaurant is quaint and romantic. We loved the decor. The hotel that houses it is beautiful. Our food was delicious and filling. The service was great. He was attentive and warm. We live in NY's Capital District and the hour drive is well worth it. We look forward to a return visit.

   Excellent food and the service was attentive and just right. We were permitted to split dishes which meant no food was wasted and the portions were appropriate. Wine menu was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will return.

    Maybe. We've been to the Thanksgiving buffet twice, and loved the experience. But, on Easter, the food was often cold, the French toast wasn't cooked through, there weren't condiments appropriate, asparagus as second-rate, strawberries ran out early, the "sirloin" was just pot roast. So, there wasn't enough advertised food and it wasn't well cooked.
