Such a nice experience. We enjoyed the music and were pleased to have a table close to the musicians. We came to hear Gabrielle Stravelli and her trio. She is always a delight.

Stumbled upon this wonderful historic bar and restaurant. Absolutely wonderful food and drink choices. Loved the various rooms and different vibes in each. Happening place for 250 years ! Crazy

Uniquely historic restaurant worth a visit, with some excellent food and service. Especially the fish and chips and short rib porter pie. Good wine list as well.

Very interesting building: on list of historic places. We visited museum upstairs, which was fascinating. This was where George Washington walked, ate, and helped form the new government.

I had looked forward to my visit to Fraunces Tavern and was very disappointed. While the food was very good and the setting was charming , our server was one of worst I've encountered in a long time When she came to our table, she didn't ask if we'd like to start with a drink while we studied our menus. Instead, she asked us to order not only our drinks but our appetizers and main course choices. We were still enjoying our appetizers when our dinners arrived, which made the entire experience feel rushed and less enjoyable. Our server never asked if we'd like a second cocktail, she didn't refill our water or ask us how our meal was. In fact, we had to flag her down to get to our check since she passed our table several times without acknowledging us. I hope our experience was a fluke because there was so much to like about this restaurant.

Lovely experience. They accommodated a last minute change in reservation time with graciousness. We were a group of eight, with adults, children and seniors and we all felt well taken care of! The food was delicious and plentiful. The signature chicken pot pie delicious…I highly recommend. It felt like an old fashioned pub…music and ambience. Really loved the idea that George Washington ate here and it was great to be able to tell the Grandkids about some history. Would gladly return and will recommend to everyone.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch with family after visiting local sights. Service was excellent and appetizers and lunches were enjoyed by all. One of us especially raved about the bison burger .
