   We went today for Adm / Professional day and the new 3 course tasting menu for lunch cannot be beat.. It was a wonderful selection and we all ordered off of it .. The new Spring additions are off the chart.. Thank you FIN

   I was disappointed in the quality of the food, especially given the price I ordered the grilled octopus and although the flavors were good the octopus was very tough. Second, I had the Waygu Ribeye for $100. I asked for rare and it came to me “medium “ at best. It was also delivered with the same sides and sauce as my wife’s filet. I thought that was lazy and overdone. Waygu doesn’t need sauce and a simpler presentation would have been better. The steak was also thin and tough, making me wonder if it was truly Waygu. For desert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was refrigerated cold and had a chunky consistency. The flavor was ok, but not nearly good enough for the price. I also ordered an espresso. It came to me cold and without the cream formed when making an espresso the correct way. In general, I was very disappointed given the bill for two of us was $450. The wines were delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great. It’s too bad the food didn’t match up.

   We were disappointment because the online reviews were pretty good. The table seatings are pretty close to each other. When we asked for a vacant booth and were told it was reserved by someone else. No one showed when we finished our dinner. The She Crab soup was the only dish that we actually enjoyed. The entrees - one was over seasoned by fresh black peppers and the other one - the lobster/shrimp sauce was quite heavy. The server was very friendly. One of the appetizers was too light and yellow curry didn’t complement mussels - something was missing.

   Nice night out with friends. As always, the food was fabulous especially the tuna tartar, firecracker shrimp and the short ribs. The bar was lacking in some staples for a few requests but the drinks we finally landed on were well made. The restaurant was very quiet, surprising for a Saturday night. Service was all ours and spot on. The space could use a little refresh but still has a cozy warm atmosphere. Fin permits BYOW for a fee and we toasted our friends bday with a VERY special bottle which we appreciated. Note: a bit unusual in our area so-be aware a 20% gratuity is added to all checks. This was properly disclosed in several places in the menu. Just an FYI. All in all a nice but quiet night at Fin.

   Wonderful meal. We chose the 5 course meal which was just right. The flavors were spot on and the presentation was excellent. Katherine our server was exceptional, she was attentive and her knowledge of the menu was excellent! We will be back!

   Our overall experience was fantastic. The octopus was great, tender, good flavor, & appealing. The accompaniments fit well and were properly cooked. The crab cake was excellent, a little peppery, but still very good. The vegetable selection went well with the crab as well. The overall ambience was eye catching, the open kitchen is a nice addition, and the waite staff did not rush us and were very professional. what a fantastic find!

   Excellent service and food. There was only one server today but she handled all the tables with ease and a smile on her face. There were only 2 empty tables when we arrived today. Kudos to the server. My crabcake & my husband’s beef tenderloin were excellent today. Crab is my favorite shellfish ad the crabcake was very tasty and served at just the right temperature. Had to send it back at my last visit because crabcake was barely warm.

   Tapas menu with wine pairing.... excellent.. very nice paring..the kitchen has it going...super energetic and happy..rest of the place rather quiet.. food excellent off the menu
