This lively restaurant was perfect for the 4 of us before heading to a concert at Massey Hall. The service was friendly and effecient. The food was just as expected in a positive way from a "pub " vibe. The manager was helpful as we wanted to watch the 1st period of the hockey game and he made it happen and checked in on us a few times. We attend a lot of concerts at Massey Hall and we are happy to find the perfect pre concert place to gather and eat. cheers

Great service. Good atmosphere. Consistent quality.

Needed a casual dinner on a Friday evening before the theater. Beer bistro fit the bill. Our server was warm and helpful. Husband had the poutine which was very tasty and I had a delicious bowl of seafood chowder with homemade sourdough. A glass of wine, a beer from a nice on-tap selection, and topped it off with a shared sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Yum!

My first time here but not my last. The environment is large, spacious, light and bright and comfortable. I am a fan of Shakshuka, and N.M.B made it best of all I have eaten. The herbs, spices and vegetables in it made it extra special. The staff could not have been more hospitable. Even though I was there a little before opening, they welcomed me in and brought me coffee, with a smile. (First time ever that a restaurant allows a client in before they had opened.) Can't wait for the summer when they have their outdoor tables set up.
