The casual and friendly vibe made us immediately comfortable, but then the food took the experience to another - and somewhat unexpected - level. Simply superb in all regards!More infoLittle D'sPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.8
- JJo-EllenVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •66 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAfter hearing of the restaurant’s sale, we were excited to go and support the new owners. We weren’t disappointed. The few changes were nice and the staff either the usual excellent waitstaff and a new person who is also excellent. The menu is very similar with a few tweaks and some new plates. Delicious. We’re thrilled as we love The Glass Onion. It’s still a fave!More infoGlass Onion - Weaverville, NCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Asheville•4.8
- CCecilyBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoServer was Kat, friendly and professional, with good recommendations - fried green tomatoes were excellent, as were the bison meatloaf, Tagliatelle, and salmon. View was amazing - prices reflect that, but we felt very well taken care of. Went to dinner on the earlier side, before 6 pm.More infoEdison - Omni Grove Park Inn & SpaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Asheville•4.6
- JJamesVIPCincinnati / Dayton •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had an excellent dinner at Rye Knot! Our group of five included two people who eat gluten-free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of options available – way more than their website or Yelp lets on. If you’re gluten intolerant, this place is a hidden gem with tons of choices. We’re always on the lookout for spots north of Asheville, and Rye Knot was a great new find. My wife ordered a gluten-free Reuben with gluten-free fries, and my daughter had a gluten-free sandwich. The rest of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a filet, and the meatloaf – everything was delicious. Portions were generous, leaning on the larger side, which we appreciated. The drink menu is extensive, with lots of beer and cocktail options. Every bar order we tried was excellent. While they seemed a little short-staffed, the service didn’t skip a beat. The manager, chef, and bartender all pitched in to help serve, and it really showed – we didn’t experience any delays. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a laid-back, unpretentious, and slightly military-inspired vibe. Rye Knot is definitely on our list of places to return to. Highly recommend!More infoRye KnotPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.5
