This was our first time here after receiving a recommendation from a complete stranger at another restaurant. Dropping off the car at the valet was smooth and easy, simply registering our car to our mobile number for communication. We were seated promptly at a table for two that was awkwardly unstable but were able to adjust it so it didn’t rock enough to spill our drinks. The Appy Hour buck-a-shuck was spot on. We crushed 18 meaty Wellfleet oysters for $18….. quite the bargain….then had several apps that were all delicious. For our main meal, we split the Filet Mignon and the Faroe Island Salmon. The filet was excellent - perfectly cooked and seasoned - but the salmon was lackluster at best, surprisingly. It seemed that they almost forgot to add any seasoning to the salmon which was unfortunate. All in all, the experience and food was on par with other Federal Hill restaurants and we will definitely be back.

This was a redemption visit after a bad experience and an invitation to return from management. Service this time was attentive and the staff seemed organised and unhassled during a busy Friday. Cosmo and Paper Plane were well crafted. “Kitchen Sink” salad always a winner and smaller size ample for 2. Mussels Portuguese and Marinara both up to standards. Bill before tax and tip reasonable at less than $90. So, Red Stripe, you're back in our rotation!
